Good food and service! Not fancy, but comfortable and welcoming. Food was tasty, hot, and extensive menu of typical American food! My 13 yr old (picky) enjoyed every bite!

My husband and I dined here tonight and we absolutely loved it. Husband ordered the pot roast dinner, which he loves at this restaurant, and I ordered the Mexican Mess, which consisted of eggs, taco-seasoned meat, hash browns, onions, peppers and cheddar cheese and salsa, all mixed up into a delicious, comfort food creation. So good! Our server was a delightful lady and we hardly had to waitat all. Wonderful meal and we will definitely return.

This is a homey little roadside diner. It's very clean, kind of has an old school diner look and feel, seats are comfortable, most importantly the food is good and the service is great! Very friendly and appreciative staff. I came here while I was charging my electric car, since they have a DC fast charger charging spot behind the restaurant. A great place to kill time while charging. I didn't feel rushed out so it was really nice.

Very well rounded American menu for breakfast. For lunch and dinner, they also have a pretty good Mexican menu. Breakfast is served all day. It's not on the menu, but kids can ask for "Mickey Mouse Pancakes". Good food, large portions, reasonable price, great service. (You may be able to have the Mexican menu at breakfast, I have not yet asked.) Mostly a locals place, despite the fact that it's "right off the interstate". Traffic revisions and new(er) construction have made it harder to see their sign from I-5. Country Cafe used to be directly off I-5, before they put in the new overpass and on/off ramps. People not familiar with the area may have a little trouble finding them, but it's worth it.

Their meatloaf and their chicken fried steak were both very, very good. The waitress was lovely. And there's an EV charging station around back. Yum!

Not the greatest place I've ever been to. Food is greasy, and the place smelled pretty strongly of gas when we walked in. Waitress was nice, but the best part of our meals was the soft drinks. My husband and I both felt a little queasy after eating here. Dont come here if you have and dietary restrictions, everything is meat, cheese and grease! Not even any veggie options. Wont be coming back.

Loved it! I took my girls there for lunch and the lady that waited on us was just as sweet as a Georgia peach! We will definitely be eating there again 😄

This is one of my favorite local breakfast spots. The service is great, and friendly. The food is always delicious and the coffee is hot. A great place for a quick early breakfast with the family. Portions are very generous, so come hungry!

This place is extremely underrated. My husband and I must have looked like 2 ragamuffins after stopping in for dinner after a very very long hard day's work but I couldn't muster the strength to go home and cook. To my surprise we were still greeted promptly and warmly by the staff. I had Surf and Turf and my husband ordered the Country Mess breakfast. I would highly recommend this restaurant for service, pricing and quality of the food. Absolutely delicious. A delightful experience.

Wonderful! 2 of us had spaghetti, garlic bread and salad. 1 of us enjoyed a burger and delicious home made chili. Service was great.

My girlfriend and I were on a road trip heading home to Seattle from Portland. We were both hungry and looking to get a bite somewhere along the way. I told her I was in the mood for a good ol' fashioned diner type place and we were pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this restaurant a few freeway exits later (watch for the freeway signs). They have many different diner classics available on the menu, and they offer Mexican food as well. I wish I lived nearby so I could visit this place often. If you're in the area and looking for great food with great service, I highly recommend it!

A solid choice for breakfast and dinner, catch the morning shift on a saturday and they will never dissapoint! Fantastic menu, well lit and genuine hospitality. Always clean and tidy.

We were on a road trip...very hungry. Saw the great reviews so we stopped in. Service was initially quick, but we waited 45 minutes for what turned out to be mediocre food.

It's a nice small town cafe. The breakfast was served hot and large portions. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

There are not a lot of true country diners left in the portland metro area. Sure, there are a few faux pas, "pretend to be quaint," places still around, but not many give you the true country feeling like Country Cafe. Just off of exit 14 on I-5, it isnt hard to get to but is also not in a heavily developed. The staff are kind, the food comes promptly, and the menu is large but not cumbersome. Definitely give this place a shot. If you do, I highly recommend the French toast. It simply is the best French toast I have ever had and everybody else I know agrees.
